Licensing Models of eLecta Live Professional
eLecta Live Professional is available under three alternative licensing models. They are carefully designed for universities, schools and businesses to match their specifics in the organization of educational processes and curriculum.
"Per Host" Licensing Model (HLM)
With the "per host" licensing model, you need a license for each host or teacher that will hold online classes and live sessions. For each host you can choose the class capacity - the maximum number of attendees that can be in a live session with this host. There can be different attendees in each session.
There is no limit on how many sessions a host may have.
A license for each host.
This licensing model is suitable if you have several hosts and you want to all of them to be able to run live classes at any time, each one in a his own virtual classroom.
The host licenses are transferrable, which means that you can transfer the license of a retired host to another person. You can also use generic/neutral host names.
Example: Your virtual school has five teachers and each teacher may be having classes at any time with no more than 15 students at a time. With this example you will need five host licenses with up to 15 students in each class.
"Per Room" Licensing Model (RLM)
With the "per room" licensing model, you license your virtual rooms rather than your hosts. With this model there is no limit on the number of teachers/hosts you can register. The number of rooms is the number of simultaneous live sessions that can be held at the same time.
A license for each room.
Each session may be hosted by a different host in a different virtual classroom. Different classrooms can be used by different hosts/teachers as per the class schedule. Each classroom can be of a different size.
This model is suitable if there are multiple hosts and teachers in your organization but only some of them are having live classes at once.
Example: Your virtual school teaches different subjects to five groups of students. Each group is of up to 15 students. There is a separate teacher for each subject. In this scenario in your school you have multiple teachers but only up to five classes at the same time; therefore you will need a maximum of five classroom licenses, each one with a capacity of 15 students.
"Per Seat" Licensing (SLM)
The "per seat" licensing is the most flexible licensing model. It is based on concurrent seats. A concurrent seat is a reusable seat available globally for your account.
With this model there is no limitation on the number of virtual rooms or hosts and teachers. The maximum number of people (both students and teachers) that can be online at the same time is actually the number of seats licensed. The seats are unnamed and reusable so you can have different people each time.
This model is suitable for organizations with complex scheduling and groups of a variable size. Arranging multiple one-to-one classes is as easy as arranging large lectures, all at the same time.
